I Like Your New Haircut - The Good Fight (videosong demo)
Fetch.
Hello World.
That’s what you type into a computer, or rather, what a computer types back to you the first time you figure out the language it speaks. The computer turns that language into impulses. People call them 1s and 0s but they’re really just on, or not on states. Like an abacus. Or like morse code. The computer takes the morse code and figures out the correct letters to display on the screen.
These impulses exist in us too. It’s what fires neurons and which allows us to see the color red, be able to describe the color red to each other, and decide that red is our favorite color. I mean, orange. Orange is my favorite color.
It also allows us to change our minds. Changing the connections that fire in your head, you can do that literally. A computer cannot make new connections. It’s pathways are predetermined at manufacture date. They can’t learn. Not yet.
I dated a girl once who swore she could hear the electricity moving in the wires hanging inside the walls of her house, but I wonder if that isn’t just the electricity inside her.
Hello World.
